Memorable Moments from our first year #3

This is the last batch of photos to make up our memorable moments of the last year. Obviously there are so many more and we are making new ones every day but these are the photos that really resonated with Daniel when he looked through the many thousands of photos we have. I agreed with most of his choices, added a few of my own and this is the result. I am sure the kids would say differently as they often have very vivid memories of things that didn't seem that special to us. It will be interesting at the end of the trip to look through the photos with the kids and see what memories are triggered.
Anyway enjoy this last set. Regular blogs to follow in a day or two as I am about a week behind (too busy exploring the SW).

After getting kicked out of this wonderful camp on the Manning River, Daniel did some great driving to get us out without getting bogged.

Cherabin were a new delicacy for us in the Kimberley.



We are glad we made the effort to go to Mitchell Falls, it was a big walk but an incredible place.

The day at Mitchell Falls was topped off by a helicopter ride over the falls and back to camp - the kids were speechless.

Cable Beach in Broome was a perfect place to watch the sun set. The kids loved the game of 'stay safe from the incoming  tide!'

Emilia loves the wildflowers. We have found so many different flowers in the bush, some so vibrantly coloured.

After wading through Tunnel Creek, the kids were so brave walking through knee deep water in the dark!

The gate to leave the famed Munja Track, what an adventure! We are so proud of our ability as a family to make potential disaster situations into fantastic experiences.

Playing in the mud/dirt is a daily occurrence for us but this day they really went for it.
