Dartmoor: Campfires, delicious food and Jackson's birthday

Arrived Wednesday afternoon in Dartmoor, free camping on the Glenelg river (near border of SA/VIC). Yesterday was the first day with all the family well which coincided with Jackson's second birthday so we indulged. We started the morning with freshly ground filter coffee (thanks George from Corinthians in Hoppers Crossing for setting us up with the gear - I am becoming an expert bush barista), followed by birthday cake cooked in the campfire (we ate the whole thing as it was so good). The day finished with marinated lamb done on the campfire spit and marshmallows around the fire- BLISS.
The cake was too good and some got eaten straight away!
